Dress Code
Some couples argue all the time about their partner dressing too sexy or without enough clothes on. Should there be a dress code in relationships to prevent arguments and make happier couples?
No, I do not beleive there should be a dress code in a relationship. No one should tell u how to dress, but on the same token you should be respectful of how you show off your goods.
My first question would be, did you just start dressing like this or is this how the person meet you. It's not a good idea to try to change someone when you finally snag them.
I think if u know it really bothers your partner, you should try to accomodate them in little ways without compromising yourself.
Why show off the cookies when your other half should be the only one with cookie jar priviledges? I'm not sure if there is a reason to dress sexy, unless you both agree to entice others. But I also think there is a difference in sexy & classy. If it is what you used to reel in your partner, is there another reason to dress that way? If it makes you feel good to dress sexy than maybe out of consideration of your other half you should ask how good it makes them feel. There is always gonna be some things in a relationship that you need to compromise about no matter how small. If not it could fester into a great big fight. Or even fester into a visit to divorce court. Maybe I'm wrong but to me no matter how super you get along or if you're "soul mates" there will still have to be compromise. A thigh high cut in a dress can go from trashy to sexy to clas
(Sorry). A thigh high cut in a dress can go from trashy to sexy to classy all in the placement of the slit. I just want to say compromise can save alot of heartache. Rules would really make marriage an institution.
My bf tries to argue w/ me all the time about how I dress when I go out with my girls. If he really loves me then he should know I'm coming home to him. Not the guys at the club.
NO. THERE SHOULD NOT BE A DRESS CODE TO PREVENT ARGUMENTS IN RELATIONSHIPS. ARGUMENTS ARE BOUND TO HAPPEN NO MATTER HOW A PERSON DRESSES. I BELIEVE THE WAY A PERSON DRESSES DEPENDS SOLELY ON THEIR AGE, RELATIONSHIP STATUS, AND MATURITY. PEOPLE SHOULD JUST DRESS THEIR AGE AND RESPECT THEIR PARTNER.

Arguing is apart of life, so if a couple doesn't argue about one thing, chances are they're arguing about something else.
A person should dress appropriate to their age, relationship status, and maturity just as SHARON said. A person should also be aware that they’re in a relationship at all times and dressing too sexy or without enough clothes can start problems such as jealousy and insecurity and give a person a bad image/reputation whether they want it or not.
People usually dress with less clothing to attract someone, but once you're in a relationship, there's a time and a place for everything.
