A couple should stop using birth control when they’re committed to one another. Along with being committed to one another, they should be ready to have a child at any time because that’s always a possibly when anyone is having unprotected sex. Most importantly, they should also get tested for any STD’s (Sexual Transmitted Diseases) before they stop using birth control.
When they both decide they are ready.
