Should a person ever date someone they work with?

  1. I think it’s of for you to date someone you work with as long as you can separate the two. It’s hard for people to do that.

If the relationship goes sour, people tend to become enemies and their work becomes affected. The environment becomes hostile and one person has to end up leaving the job.

  2. Yes. A person should date someone they work with. They’ll more than likely have the same goals and dreams which are successful in a relationship. Just as dating a friend, many people are afraid that they’ll lose a friend or create tension if they breakup, but that mentality will only prepare them for the worse.

The main reason why many people don’t or wouldn’t like to date people they work with is because they feel that they or their partner won’t be able to separate the relationship from outside the job and inside the job.

Just remember that when you’re dating someone you work with, they’re friends with everyone at the job and everyone will eventually know you’ll are together, so there’s no need to hover, overwhelm and/or be jealous for/over your partner.
Problems at the home can easily be taken to the workplace and vice versa.
