Picking Up The Check

When a couple is newly dating, who should pay for the date?

  1. When a couple is newly dating, the man (or the person in the man role) should pick up the check.

Once you have gone out a couple of times then it doesn't really matter who picks up the check because you become a team.

As a woman, I want to feel like one and my man taking me out and picking up the check does that for me. I want to be able to leave the house with just my keys because I know my man got me...

I also don't mind picking up the check once in a while.

  3. When a couple is newly dating, a man should pay for the date. A man has to be a man and show the woman that he’s able to protect and provide for her.

With that being said, a woman should never put pressure on a man by telling him he has to pay for their date nor should she leave her purse/money at home and expect him to pay for everything.

It’s always good for a woman to pay for a date as well.

    There are several indicator of
    who’s paying for the date:

    1) Let’s = Dutch
    2) Can you = Self Explanatory
    3) I will = Self Explanatory
    4) We Should = Either Dutch or the offer pays
    5) I would like to = I would pay for myself, but I would like for you to pay for me

Overall, when you’re going on a date, never expect your date to pay and always bring your own money just in case when you’re newly dating.

  4. Why can't a woman leave her purse and home and expect her man to pay? Im not talking about somebody you just meet and are going on a first or 3rd date. Im talking about someone you have been dating for a while.
