If you really want to know what a person is like, live with them for 6 months....you'll either run for your life or be down on bended knee! It is the best way to find out if you really can work with someone. True nature comes out when you are comfortable at home, not just spending the night.
I do think that a couple should live together for some time before they get married.
Living together can show how compatible you are together or how wrong you are together.
When you are under the same roof for longer than a night, you learn a lot about a person. Things you wouldn’t normally find out if you weren’t living together. You see the true person!
It’s like a test…some people pass…some fail.
When you live together before marriage you can overcome some issues before tying the knot!
But I don’t believe in shacking up for a long period of time. You should have wedding plans or a date in the immediate future. Don’t sit around for years just shacking….you will never get married. People get too comfortable.
YES. A couple should live together prior to getting married, but NOT for a long period of time without planning for marriage.
When a couple lives together, it will test the waters of how successful their relationship will be when they get married. Without living with someone, you won’t be able to see their bad habits and/or annoying ways first hand.
Many people are against living with their partner because they tend to think that the relationship will get too comfortable and not take their relationship to another step. (Marriage)
Overall, for a couple to not get too comfortable when they live together, they should still plan and look to bettering their future with marriage and children.
