If a couple isn’t friends, they aren’t bound to break up, BUT their relationship would be so much better if they were friends.
When a couple isn’t friends, they will talk and trust one another, but not to the extent of a couple that are friends as well as lovers.
Being friends in a relationship opens the door to a high level of trust, comfort, understanding, and rational thinking. A partner has to do twice as much wrong for their partner to be upset at them because there’ll be a high level of tolerance. Even at the point where someone gets upset, they wouldn’t be upset for long because love would be floating in the air.
In addition, being friends with your partner makes the relationship more spontaneous and fun. Flirting would be involved and flirting always spices up any intimate relationship.
