"The List"
In dating, many people have a "list", but as a person gets older, why should they look deeper into the person they're dating and not worry about their "list"?
I think the list is all the things you are looking for in a person....and as you get older...you start realizing what's more important when you are looking for a mate. Things on that list are no longer important as they use to be.
I dont think anyone will match up to all your needs. It is important to look at the greater qualities that person might have and what they can bring to your relationship.
They might not have brown eyes from your list, but they might have a kind heart. You have to weigh it out.
A "list" is what a person would ONLY date. A "preference" is what a person prefers.
After time though, a preference can become a list when a person gets older because the changes of finding someone they prefer might be slim to none.
When a person gets older, they should look deeper into the person they're dating and not worry so much about their list because the older people get, the more baggage they have. With more baggage, a person might not have everything a person prefers.
Overall, there's nothing wrong with having a list, but the longer a person keeps their list, the more likely for a slim to none chance of finding someone with all the qualities on the list.
